Born on August 8, 1991, Baku.

In 1999 she moved to Moscow.

From 2002 till 2009, she studied at the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum, Architerture Department.

From 2009 till 2014, she studied at Kosygin Moscow State University, Faculty of Arts. Since 2009, Djemma takes part in international exhibitions and in Biennale of Contemporary Art.

In 2013 she was awarded the first prize in Japanese Graphic Competition of the Sugino School. In 2014, Djemma Sattar entered UAL: CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS in London for master's courses continued her scientific work on the theme «Contemporary Art and Fashion».

In the summer of 2015, she was a participant in the ICA summer school along with Goldsmiths students.

In 2015 Gemma founded the S A T T A R project, which combined fashion and art. In 2018, Gemma became a member of the European Conference «Women in Art For Peace»

Gemma is currently exploring the interpersonal relationships of people and the sign system in the context of this topic.

«I care about the language of the future, the way people communicate in future. How will artificial intelligence change communication between people? This is reflections on the ceremonies of love and religion in the modern world where technology and information play a big role.»
