Georgy Ostretsov
Born in 1967, in Moscow
Lived in Paris for ten years (1988 - 1998), now lives and works in Moscow.
In 1984, he graduated from the Theater and Art School (TATC) at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. He collaborated with world-famous designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier. Gosha is the founder of the VGLAZ art association.
In the biography of Gosha Ostretsov, there are many significant exhibitions in such institutions as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Moscow; the Russian Museum, Saint-Petersburg; the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow; the Saatchi Gallery, London.
In 2009, Gosha Ostretsov had a personal project in the Russian Pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art. In 2013, he participated in the 5th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art.
