In 1984, Nikolai Filatov, together with Andrey Reuter and German Vinogradov, created in the disbanded kindergarten a unique artistic phenomenon in the Moscow underground environment - "Kindergarten": a community of like-minded people and an art squat. This was the place where independent artists could meet, exhibit and store their work. The Kindergarten, which existed until 1986, became a legendary meeting point for many avant-garde figures of that time.
