Design Studio Rooms is a modern duet from Tbilisi with an impressive portfolio and European fame. Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia were born in 1981 and met at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts and founded their own studio in 2008.
They create modern, ironic and memorable furniture, referring to the images of the USSR history and the primitive forms of Georgian ethnicity. Since 2011 they are participating in Milan Design Week, collaborating with Moooi and SS Tapis. In 2016 they loudly announced about themselves their collection Wild Minimalism. Besides of subject design they are also work in interior design. Design Studio Rooms decorated two boutique hotels: Rooms Kazbegi and Rooms Tbilisi, where the local flavor delicately adds the modern atmosphere.
