The idea for creating a shelving was the desire to experiment with the form of architectural composition in furniture, combining two fundamental phenomena:
The first is the use of the arcade as the main element in architecture. The arcade creates depth, spatial and interesting dynamic effects due to the play of light and shadow created by the arches, while creating grandeur, elegance and harmony of space.
The second is the use of traditional carpentry material oak wood, as a symbol of strength, reliability and durability. The use of predominantly handmade work by a master who realized his idea refers to the artisanal, authentic history of the creation of the rack.
ikvwood is functional, attractive and comfortable furniture made from solid wood and natural materials, produced in small quantities.
The founder and executor of the furniture creation process is master Ilya Kuznetsov, who works in his workshop in Dmitrov, Moscow Region. Handmade items retain the warmth and energy of the master, and an individual approach to each project allows us to solve almost any problem.
Without putting his work on stream, Ilya makes unique and practical things, usually according to his own sketches, customizing them for each customer if necessary.
