Яoma Bantik (b.1995) is a contemporary artist who finds inspiration in the industrial heritage and nature of his native region – the Urals.
He graduated from the Industrial Design faculty of the Ural State University of Architecture and Art. In 2020, after realizing a personal project IGЯA, he started experimenting with metal. Later this year Bantik developed his first digital installation for the 2046 space (CROSBY STUDIOS) and participated in TZVETNIK (ISSMAG Gallery) group exhibition. All these events lead Яoma to his unique style he now implements in his works. Яoma works and lives in Europe.

The artist defines his practice as a ‘game’ and ‘poetry of life’ that explore the person (‘me’) and the theme of ‘locations between’ in space and time. He thus ‘theatrizes’ his own daily life, drawing on childhood memories, impressions and dreams.
