Khabarova's style is dominated by neo-expressionism, which inherits the expressionist line of St. Petersburg art. For painting, he often uses damaged canvases, claiming various defects, scuffs and holes as attributes of his works.
In her art, the artist tells a very personal story of urban bodily loneliness, fragility and insecurity.
Inspiration is found in the form, individual characteristics, small details, which makes each work a recognition. As the artist herself says:
“THE BODY IS A COLLECTION OF RECEPTORS, CARNAL POWER, PLEASURE AND SATISFACTION. THE BODY IS GOD.
Khabarova writes only from life, increasingly abstracting from the image of the figure in favor of his sensual intimate image. Critic Mikhail Borisov described her art as follows:
"Natasha Khabarova steps elegantly from the figurative into abstraction and metaphysics."
