Stanislav Shuripa was born in 1971 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Lives and works in Moscow.
He explores the urban environment, depicting it as a deserted computer world with a clear geometry and thoughtful design. If you look at the artist's landscapes for a long time, especially in a confined space, it seems that this is real life outside the window, where the grass stands like a motionless wall (and is it grass?), the sky breaks into graphic cracks. The reality of the "computer" world has been greatly transformed: it has a different society, a different ideology, and other personal perversions. The iconic painting systems are of a different nature than in the works of their predecessors, they are akin to a musical series of electronic music, depressing emotions, but full of hidden information.
