Carré d'artistes Moscow Gallery opened in Moscow in 2015. It was founded by Yulia Akimova in partnership with the French brand Carre d'artistes - an international network of galleries specializing in contemporary artists.
The gallery is located in the historical center of Moscow in the apartment building of the Smirnovs on Petrovka street, designed by the famous architect Gustav Gulrich.
The gallery specializes in modern abstract art. The gallery mainly represents artists from Russia and France, such as Daniel Reymann, a promising abstract minimalist artist, and the Soviet nonconformist artist Sergei Alferov.
