Alexandra Vertinskaya in 1987 graduated from the Moscow secondary art school at the Moscow State Art Institute. V. I. Surikov. In 1992 she graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute. V. I. Surikov (workshop of T. T. Salakhov).
In 1992-1994 she trained at the National Academy of Arts in Paris. Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts. Lives and works in Moscow. Vertinskaya in her work gives new life to the classic theme of flowers. Traditional images acquire a fresh reading in her works. Alexandra's gaze, as if through a magnifying glass, conveys the texture and structure of each individual flower with photographic accuracy. At the same time, Alexandra's painting is not a photographic "imprint", but spiritualized poeticization.
