Tennis player
Kipyatkov is the first Russian artist who systematically and regularly works with reflective materials in art. He uses reflective fabric as a base for painting, reflective beads and powder as components of opaque agents. Thus, he creates a special optical effect in his works, which look different in different lighting conditions. The art-work "Tennis player" is painted with varnish on a reflective fabric, so a realistic image approaches abstraction.
Kirill Kipyatkov was born in1987 in Veliky Novgorod, Russia.
He has graduated from the State Academy of Art and Design in Saint Petersburg, the painting and restoration faculty.
2018-2019 studied a course on contemporary art at the Free Workshops School, MMOMA, Moscow.
Nowadays lives and works in Moscow.
