From the history of clothing. XX century. Vatniki
Vatnik is a variety of Russian warm cotton wool-padded jacket. When worn with valenki and an ushanka, the wearer can comfortably remain
warm in sub-zero temperatures for long periods. In the Soviet Union, the whole country wore this kind of jacket: soldiers, students, workers, prisoners, builders, drivers and others.
Leonid Shereshevsky (1948−2023) is a ceramist, graphic artist and sculptor whose persistent motif is the image of the body as a home, and his favorite subject is the city landscape and a person in a crowd.
