Armchair MP-81 with the ottoman
The design of the rare MP-81 armchair consists of two fiberglass bodies and solid wood legs. The rear legs can be adjusted to two different positions to create two versions: with or without a headrest.
Percival Lafer was born in 1936 and graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Mackenzie University in São Paulo. Still very young, having just graduated from university, he had to take over his father's furniture company, Móveis Lafer. Percival Lafer's work as an industrial designer left an indelible mark on the furniture industry in Brazil. Since his first project, his work has always been marked and original.
In his opinion, every piece of furniture should reflect the the state of the art applied to innovative ideas.
