In her practice, the artist explores the thin line between reality and illusion, fixes the gap between the external and internal perception of life. her mission is catching the elusive and ghostly states, groping for the inner emptiness that we are so good at hiding. Olya notes that in the modern world, a person feels rather awkward than organic, she studies the complexities of the current socio-cultural landscape and the feeling of isolation in which we find ourselves. According to the artist, her works balance between two extremes - complete loneliness and "neurotic fiesta". Lives and works in Moscow
