About the Artist

The pseudonym of the artists Aleksandra Gracheva (b. 1991) and Nikita Baltinskikh (b. 1990). Live and work in Yekaterinburg. Both B.A. in Art History education, UrFU named after B.N. Yeltsin.

Osip Toff works with contexts, archiving social, historical, cultural experience, processing it into incidental plots and intellectual puzzles. The works are characterized by nostalgic pathos, retro-futurism, theatricality, accentuated populism, and ambiguity of themes.
