Pierre Bonnefille is a painter, designer and ” Maitre d’art ” who works in a unique and exceptional poetic direction. In his work, material, color and light are inseparable. The author creates his own materials and textures based on natural pigments and powders of minerals, limestone, lava, marble, earth, and pigmented metals. A true explorer, Pierre Bonfils draws his inspiration from the colors of nature and architectural references of Venice, Pompeii, and even Kyoto. Bonnefille forms his color palette, starting with the earth and collecting natural materials, whose colorimetric structure he later analyzes. The intensity of color and the movement of light set a completely new interpretation of the colors and textures created by the artist, giving them uniqueness and originality.
