Clara Golitsyn
1925
Klara Golitsyna is an artist of a wide range. Her work includes different directions — from powerful realism to postmodernism. Clara started drawing since childhood. The first strong impression that remained for the rest of his life was the feeling of ancient art in casts collected by I. Tsvetaev at the Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. Then — the discovery of the Museum of New Western Art on Kropotkinskaya (Shchukin collection). These are the Impressionists and Matisse. A keen sense of modernity, a sense of time as always changing reality leads Clara Golitsyna to experiment and use a wide range of visual and stylistic techniques. Mathematically logical composition and sensuality of color are tightly intertwined in her works. Some "iconic images" grow to the level of powerful symbols, consonant with the disturbing moods of the modern artist era.
