The Life Preserver
Artur Udovenko is a author, representative of the Primorsky Region School of Painting. He graduated from the Far East State Academy of Arts. Now he teaches at the Primorsky Regional College of Art and is actively engaged in creative activity.
In his works the artist touches upon various everyday themes familiar to many, generalizing and romanticizing them. Arthur's paintings, on the one hand, reflect the fleeting nature of human life, and on the other hand, teach us to enjoy every moment of it.
Art historian Yulia Klimko noted that “observation is an important characteristic for Arthur Udovenko, who refers to the visual aesthetics of those trends in painting that emerged in the early twentieth century, including Expressionism, Symbolism, and Fauvism, and which remain relevant to the artist as an opportunity to show the world from a psychological point of view, omitting the detail inherent in realism.”
