The "Storage Units" series
In the photographs taken by the multi-exposure method, you can see fragments of the family photo archive and subjectively significant objects from the sideboard and closet, which were identified as such during inquisitive conversations between the artist and her grandmother. Thus, through the prism of one family, the phenomenon of subjective memory is comprehended in the project. The generally accepted stereotype of storage includes the storage of photographs, documents, diplomas, medals and financially valuable gifts. It is customary to keep such things. At this time, "living" memory objects – those strange things that a person loved and often touched, those that were spontaneously bought on vacation, but at the same time associated with a poignant
episode of a romantic relationship – often just gather dust in the sideboard and then simply disappear like an untold story.
The artist reflects on memory and the archive, referring to the image of time and its trace both on a material and non-material level.
