This is not my first mention of the topic of the shell, which is an external protection that either preserves or hides something valuable from view. The dual concepts of "external - internal" and "public - private" are explored here from the perspective of the sanctity of what is hidden. The delicate, light fabric of the shell distracts the eye with its intricate folds, preventing it from peering inside.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia and participant of exhibitions since 2009, the artist is a winner of national and international competitions.
He creates works in the genres of easel graphics and photography, as well as installations. In his work, the artist explores the identity of the Shoria mountain region, to which he belongs, and documents its elusive culture using the methods of autoethnography and field practice.
