Rasikh's creative method was formed back in Ufa in the 80s in the Genghis Khan art group, at the origins of which he stood with artists whose views on art were far from the specifics of routine socialist realism. Rasich's work is a fusion of life impressions: admiration for the art of the Italian Renaissance, the works of the masters of the Paris school and German expressionists, a passion for Russian icon painting and suprematists.
Rasikh Akhmetvaliev's painting is like a meadow in May, where women and horses walk freely and joyfully. The motive of "horsemen" and "horsemen by the sea" - and this is one of Akhmetvaliev's favorite symbols, personifying the merger of body and soul - serves the same idea of combining heavenly and earthly, weightless movement of air (spiritual) masses and erasing borders, striving for inner freedom and purity.
