Evening song
The musical theme in Midat's works is one of the main sources of his inspiration. Music, as a universal language that allows one to convey mood, is expressed in his works through a synesthetic perception of the world. His abstractions contain harmony and rhythm, color rhymes, the ringing of expressive spots, and the pacification of melodic lines. The visual series resemble music notebooks, in which music acquires its corporeality, subject to further improvisation. The artist masterfully combines in one canvas the clearly drawn schematic lines and the chaos of impasto painting.
For Midat, the Genghis Khan group is the spiritual environment where he was formed as an artist, it supports and develops him. He creates in the key of "emotional improvisation." The main theme in creativity is the steppe landscape. It is the Orenburg steppe that remains the main source of his inspiration and the road to abstract art. Expressive means - a spot and a line, their impulses as a reflection of the deep processes of the subconscious. For him, this world is real: it's the bursts and flowing rivers of his thoughts and feelings, from the steppe landscapes to the galactic eddies of space. One of the favorite topics is musical, namely, the creation of author's picturesque versions of songs, mainly from Tatar folklore. "Abstraction," he believes, "gives the artist freedom, allows you to literally convey both harmony and rhythm, and even melody, and most importantly, express the emotions associated with the song." Midat is a fighter for his creative method, as well as a fighter with himself, with material and color for maximum honesty and sincerity; sometimes lines and spots themselves begin to work, "lead," folding into pictures. The process is full of long searches and unexpected twists, when a successful stroke or "color rhyme" gives rise to a new image, a new mood, a new resolution of the spatial situation.
