Born in 1954 in Barentsburg, Spitsbergen Island.
In 1973–1975 she studied painting at the private school of the artist Vasily Sitnikov in Moscow.
In 1977 she began her exhibition biography: solo exhibitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Frankfurt.
In the 1980s she proposed her version of geometric abstraction, reducing real visual images to pure forms — windows, stairs, doors, corners.
In 1986 she became one of the founders and a member of the creative association "Hermitage" (Moscow).
In 2007 and 2014 she was nominated for the Kandinsky Prize "Project of the Year".
