Атом бар. (atom house bar). Объектом вдохновения для создания послужил дом атомщиков в Москве — образец позднесоветского модернизма. «Дом корабль», как его называют в народе, растянулся на пол километра, и выглядит как дрейфующий корабль на фоне голубого неба. Суровый на вид, простой и строгий в линиях и объемах, он вызывает противоречивые чувства: он и пугает своими габаритами, но в то же время восхищает своими пропорциями.
Глядя на него, ты чувствуешь мысль архитектора, которая все в том же поиске освоения объемов и создания новой пластики внутри устоявшегося стиля. Дом атомщиков стал прототипом для создания бара Атом — как дань тем архитекторам, которые ошибаются и создают архитектурные шедевры в поиске создания лучшей среды для жизни человека.
Atom bar. (atom house bar). The inspiration for the creation was the house of atomic workers in Moscow - an example of late Soviet modernism. "House ship", as it is popularly called, stretches for half a kilometer, and looks like a drifting ship against the blue sky. Severe in appearance, simple and strict in lines and volumes, it evokes conflicting feelings: it is frightening in its dimensions, but at the same time delights with its proportions. Looking at it, you feel the idea of the architect, which is still in the same search for mastering volumes and creating new plasticity within the established style. The House of Atomic Workers became the prototype for the creation of the Atom bar - as a tribute to those architects who make mistakes and create architectural masterpieces in the search for creating a better environment for human life.
