Daniil Arkhipenko (b.1985) lives and works in Saint Petersburg. He grew up in family of conservator-restorer Alexander Arkhipenko, also attended lessons at State Academic Institute of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture; and Art and Industry Academy in Saint Petersburg. Daniil, as an artist of young generation of the New Academy (Saint-Petersburg), is interested in the world artistic heritage. Нe learns from old masters the subtleties of transferring various picturesque textures and inherits the tradition of optical experiments.
The series «Unbound observer» is the basics for interior design of subway station Zenit ( ex. Novokrestovskaya) in Saint Petersburg, that was opened on the occasion of the FIFA World Cup. He had particapaped as in Russian as in Eoropean exhibitions and art fairs, including Ludwig Museum in Budapest (2015). Daniil’s artworks are in museum and private collections in Greece, Hungary, Italy, Russia, the UK and the USA
