Galina Ereshchuk
Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I.Surikov at the Russian Academy of Arts. The artist was born in 1986 in Voronezh. Galina Ereshchuk lives and works in Moscow. In her work, Galina chose painting as the main medium. At the same time, the plot content is secondary to the plastic one. Her method is to switch between the registers of the language of plastic utterance, from an expressive driving one to a graphic one with local generalizations, which serves to create an atmosphere, almost cinematic suspense, and metanarrative in a broad sense.
Presented works are from the series "Russian Plain", project "This is not summer": one can guess the homage to the ironic name of the group "Central Russian Upland". In works - a state of not stagnation, but rather timelessness. The created environment is potentiated by the charge of what is not predetermined ... The minimalism of the means turns into a multi-layered, almost abstract painting. The viewer has to go into the apophenia mode, guessing the formal or objective, in the pulsating focus of lines and spots.
The works are in private collections in Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Germany, Luxembourg, Canada, in the collection of the "Free Business" fund.
