Oleg Kulik is a Soviet and Russian performance artist, artist, representative of the so-called Moscow actionism.

A regular participant in world leading exhibitions (Venice Biennale, Istanbul Biennale and Biennale in Sao Paulo, exhibitions in Paris and Vienna, Barcelona and Kyoto, New York and Cologne, Moscow.

In the summer of 2010, Oleg Kulik became the only invited curator in the history of the Archstoyanie festival.

Kulik is the author of the project "Apocalypse and rebirth in the Chocolate House". The artist’s works are in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, Center Pompidou and the British gallery Tate Modern.

Oleg Kulik is one of the key figures in contemporary Russian art. Born in 1961 in Kiev. One of the founders of actionism. Explores the physical and emotional relationships of human and animal, normal and deviant, kitsch and art. In the 90s he was engaged in radical curatorial projects and actions. Since the 2000s, he has been working with photo collages, creating sculptural installations, and turns to painting.
