About the artist
Artist from Saint-Petersburg, who paints in the streets from 1997. Stas has never been interested in fonts and classic nickname-writing, he started from figurative art at a go.
His creative work is not limited by the city space, he paints in oils on canvas and creates installations, keeping his own visual system not depending on the techniques.
Stas notes material experiment as a key element of his creative work and uses in his artworks rubber, silicon, wood, heating elements and found objects.
Bugs` distinctive style is a contrast combination of detailed realistic elements, monochrome recently, and graffiti and pop-art elements.
