Victoria Nurislamova
Victoria Nurislamova is a young and independent designer and art director. Vika has a BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree from the University of Hertfordshire. She has worked at the branding Ermolaev Bureau, the advertising agency Instinct BBDO and now teaches at the British Higher School of Design. In 2020 Victoria won the "Collectible Design" section of the competition "Invented and Made in Russia" supported by Russian Ministry of Culture. She is now continuing her experimental work on the «Slip» project and is creating new artworks within this concept.
Since 2021, Viktoria Nurislamova's work has been presented exclusively by the MIRRA gallery of collectible design. In January 2021, her first solo exhibition "The Thing!" was held at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts.
Viktoria is the winner of several prestigious competitions including: Type Directors Club (New York), Art Directors Club (Russia), D&AD New Blood (London), Photobookfest, European Design Awards, "Invented and Made in Russia" and others. Victoria's works have been repeatedly published in Russian and international press. She has been featured in The Calvert Journal, Etapes, Designboom, Page, Designmate, Design&Design, INTERIOR+DESIGN, Elle Decoration, Sostav, Packaging of the World and other publishers.
