Julia Marcos
“My taste and interest in interiors developed in childhood under the influence of my grandmother and mother - they designed our lives with extraordinary subtlety. The apartments of my childhood were full of antiques, beautiful fabrics, elegant dishes and flowers. My first interior “project” was a dollhouse: it was placed on a bookcase donated by my mother. It’s surprising that over time this became my profession,” says the designer.
The first professional projects were exhibitions, decoration of shops and salons. The first full-fledged interior project was the design of own house near Moscow - it was published and marked the beginning of a chain of orders. An important stage in building Marcos’s career was her participation in the television projects “Kvartirnyy vopros” and “Dachnyy otvet” thanks to which she gained wide popularity.
