a—s—t—r—a gallery
a—s—t—r—a is a gallery project created by Alina Kryukova, entrepreneur and researcher, in 2018 to promote art among the new generation and popularize collecting.

a—s—t—r—a is a combination of exhibition and interdisciplinary educational projects aimed at attracting new entrants to the art market.

Conceived as an entry point for aspiring collectors, a—s—t—r—a operated as an online platform for acquiring affordable art during 2018, and at the end of 2019 already represented Russian artists at the international SCOPE fair at ART BASEL, MIAMI.

In March 2020 became the first Russian gallery to participate in Spring/Break ArtShow in New York as part of Armory Show, and in August 2020 the only Russian gallery to participate in Enter Art Fair in Copenhagen, Denmark. Since 2020 it has participated annually in the Russian fairs Cosmoscow, blazar, 1703, |catalog|.

a—s—t—r—a works with both established and international artists such as Alexey Morozov, Kirill Koteshov, Oleg Dow, Sergey Sonin and Elena Samorodova, Gosha Ostretsov, Egor Ostrov, Sebastian Heiner, Alina Blumis, and young artists who have gained institutional recognition, including Artur Krivoshein, Anna Pavlova, Dishon Yuldash, Jolie Alien, Pavel Bushuev and others.

The gallery is located on the territory of CSI Vinzavod.

Since October 2020 it has been a member of the Association of Russian Galleries.

Alina Krukova is an entrepreneur, art collector, founder of a—s—t—r—a gallery, co-founder of the contemporary art fair |catalog|; lecturer at Skolkovo, Universal University; member of the Board of the Association of Russian Galleries, member of the Expert Council of the Creative Industries Agency.
