Yulia Agenosova's projects are the artist's reflection on the fragility of human existence. The world
seems to the author to be weightless, illusory, "hanging by a thread", evanescence, existence, the inevitability of the end, physical vulnerability, when a person's life is fragile and fickle -
the leitmotif of the artist's work.
Author names the works created by the artist using the technique of scratching on wet paint as «petroglyphs". This technique is best suited for the image such a complex, controversial material as human hair. "Hair", as a material, has special properties for the artist - they keep a secret associated with memory, human DNA, cults and rituals, superstitions and mystical practices.
Sculptures by Yulia Agenosova are made of wire, remotely resembling a bundle, a skein of hair - being to a certain extent a soft and plastic material, it is able to keep its shape. At there is always a risk that some element will change the form, and hence the content.
Sculpture does not have a frozen, dead, fixed form once and for all - it is mobile, flexible, like itself.
life.
