The gallery was founded in Moscow in 1999 to represent a generation associated with the Moscow conceptual movement of the 1980s.
Over the years, POGODINA GALLERY has held solo exhibitions by artists: the group "Fourth Height", Boris Stuchebryukov, Vladimir Kupriyanov, Olga Soldier, Andrey Filippov, Konstantin Batynkov, Alexander Yulikov, Arkady Nasonov, Sergey Volkov, Boris Matrosov, and others.
The gallery also participated in major thematic projects held in the State Tretyakov Gallery - "Art of the Female Kind" and "Not Toys". Over the years, the gallery has held dozens of solo and group exhibitions, participated in domestic and foreign contemporary art fairs, collaborated with charitable foundations and projects. The gallery's direction can be defined as romantic conceptualism. Today, we work in a showroom format. The gallery has two spaces at its disposal: an office on Tverskaya Street, used for private screenings and meetings with clients, as well as an exhibition space in Sredny Kislovsky Lane for holding chamber exhibitions and presentations.
