Dmitry Aské is one of the ideologues and the most prominent Russian street wave artists. He creates studio works using his own original technique of plywood mosaic relief, and also engages in art in public spaces in the format of large-scale paintings, panels and sculptures. His monumental works can be found in Moscow, Vladivostok, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, German Mannheim and other cities. In 2019, Dmitry created a panel in the building of the Leningradsky Railway Station in Moscow and took part in the group exhibition "Russian Fairy Tale: From Vasnetsov to Now" at the New Tretyakov Gallery.

In addition, Asuke is an authoritative researcher of graffiti and street art. In 2015, Dmitry held a large-scale series of lectures on street art with a grant from the Ruarts Foundation and the Artmossfera creative association. In 2018, within the framework of the III Biennale of Street Wave Art, Artmossfera presented the research exhibition project Street Art in Russia from the 1980s to the 2010s, and in 2019, as a curator, he organized the Morskaya project at the Zarya Center for Contemporary Art in Vladivostok. Joined the editorial staff of the Encyclopedia of Russian Street Art (2019).
