Alexandra Paperno (b. 1978, Moscow) is a painter and also makes installations, photographs, and videos. From 1996 to 2000 she studied at The Cooper Union (New York). In 2004, she had her first solo exhibition at the National Center for Contemporary Arts (Moscow). Recent solo exhibitions include: Self-Love Among the Ruins (Shchusev State Museum of Architecture, Moscow, 2018), Abolished Constellations (Galerie Volker Diehl, Berlin, 2018), and Drawing Lesson (Studiocur/art, Paris Internationale Nonprofit Program, 2021).
