A design collection of luminous mirage-like objects with softened, blurred edges of matte glass, transforming from architectural elements into floor lamps, wall sconces, or benches on which one can sit.
The internal light source within each column reveals the matte, flowing edges, introducing us to the nature of light and water through their tactile sensations.
The fused-glass light columns are strong enough to become benches when placed horizontally. This close interaction and multidisciplinary functionality allow a personal dialogue with the objects, offering choice and flexibility.
The collection can be used to create light installations that transform the architecture of a space into the experience of a natural phenomenon.
The name derives from an atmospheric optical illusion in nature, when a bright, dense beam of light stretches vertically upward from a source such as the Sun, Moon, or streetlights.
First presented at Cosmoscow 2025.
FRESH.GLASS is a multidisciplinary brand that explores the nature of glass in its tactile, emotional and visual contexts. The art lab collective (Dasha Bolkhovitina, Sergey Martynov, Konstantin Gvozdev, and Anastasia Vishnyakova) create and develop the perception of casted glass as a material, an architectural piece, a sculpture and an object while reflecting experiences on the interaction with glass. ow the studio works in three directions, following its philosophy:
