Grisha

Born in 1989 in Khimki, Moscow Region. Graduated from the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, majoring in Advertising. Has been involved in street art since 2004. Collaborates with street artist 0331s. As part of the 7th Moscow International Biennale of Contemporary Art (2017), MMOMA hosted a joint exhibition with 0331s, "Soot", organized in collaboration with the Ruarts Foundation. In 2018, he participated in Alexey Partol's exhibition "Parts of Walls" at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall (St. Petersburg). In addition to creating graffiti and small-scale sculptures from granite, Grisha works as a graphic artist. Many of his works are made with an ordinary gel pen. The monochrome and "prickly" shading seems to grow out of the paper, the detailing is striking in its precision and meticulousness. In 2019, Grisha, together with 0331c and Alexey Partola, made an illegal descent into an abandoned part of the Paris catacombs. In 2021, the Ruarts Foundation hosted an exhibition of photo documents dedicated to this journey, and published the book "City from the Underground". In 2022, the Ruarts Gallery hosted Grisha's first solo exhibition of works in the Horror vacui concept, entitled "Unaffordable Luxury". In April 2023, the Ruarts Foundation showed "Our Stone Age" - a performance by Moscow artists 0331c and Grisha about the life and fashion of people of the "stone future". The authors created a collection of clothing, accessories and tableware from crystals of various origins. The video work was included in the Ruarts Foundation collection.
