Artur Udovenko is a young artist and a representative of the Primorye school of painting. He graduated from the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts.
In his works, the artist explores various everyday subjects familiar to many people, generalizing and romanticizing them. On the one hand, Artur’s paintings reflect the fleeting nature of human life; on the other, they encourage viewers to appreciate each of its moments.
Art critic Yulia Klimko noted that “observation is an important quality for Artur Udovenko, who turns to the visual aesthetics of artistic movements that emerged in the early twentieth century, including Expressionism, Symbolism, and Fauvism. These movements remain relevant to the artist as a way of portraying the world from a psychological perspective while avoiding the detailed representation characteristic of realism.”
