Olesya Rubeko creates a series of paintings specifically for the gallery's booth project to participate in Cosmoscow-2026. As a result of her long-term work, Olesya creates a new project where she shows herself not only as a professional painter, but also as a master of fine materials, barely perceptible in the figurative concept of the inner garden, its artifacts and the metaphor of the greenhouse and the garden as a shelter. At the same time, the artist remains true to herself and her chosen direction - she explores the boundary between the inner and the outer and, above all, the moment when this boundary ceases to exist. The interpenetration of the human and the inhuman: the way nature, space, and matter penetrate the psyche, and how the inner - anxiety, memory, and bodily sensation - unfolds outward, becoming visible to the outside. In every work there is liminality, the space "between" a person and the landscape, where the body and environment are interpenetrable, entropy is evident, in which the natural, man-made and psychological obey the same logic of decay and renewal.
In painting, there are enclosed spaces of greenhouses and greenhouses — artificially created conditions for the cultivation of life. However, these constructions do not completely subjugate nature: through the architecture of control, the Dionysian energy of growth, excess and unpredictability emerges.
