The item is in progress and is being completed. It is presented as a sketch. The idea behind the creation of the rack was to experiment with the form of architectural composition in furniture by combining two fundamental phenomena:
1. The use of arcades as a fundamental element in architecture. Arcades create depth, spatial, and interesting dynamic effects through the play of light and shadow created by the arches, while also creating a sense of grandeur, elegance, and harmony in the space.
2. The use of solid wood as a symbol of strength, reliability, and durability. The use of primarily handmade craftsmanship by the artist who created the idea refers to the artisan, authentic history of the creation of the rack.
KILTA is an accent interior items made of wood and natural materials at the intersection of functional design and contemporary art, created in the family workshop of Ilya and Tatiana Kuznetsova. All items are unique and are created in limited editions or in single copies. The items, which are created with a large amount of manual labor, are filled with energy, bringing the manufacturing process closer to a craft. From the idea to the implementation, each item goes through the hands of only one master, without the involvement of hired staff.
