Screen Imagination
The item is in progress and is being completed. It is presented as a sketch. In the "Imagination" screen, the authors have combined two objects that once ignited the imagination: screens and blinds. In the screen, the unusual shape of the panels refers to the play of imagination. The panels are made of glass elements that stimulate the imagination by slightly distorting the object hidden behind the screen.
It is known that screens have always had a special aura of mystery: by concealing something, they simultaneously aroused curiosity and tempted people to peek behind the panels. This duality made them a successful tool for flirting, including in the hands of courtesans from different eras and cultures.
French courtesans used blinds (from the French word jalousie, meaning "jealousy") to ignite passion and jealousy in their admirers. They would leave the blinds slightly ajar, creating the illusion of a solid panel and allowing men to secretly observe the proceedings.
