About the Artist

Ivan Gorshkov was born in 1986 in Voronezh. Resident of the gallery "H.L.AM". From 2009 to 2019, he was a co-founder of the Voronezh Center for Contemporary Art. Fellow of the Garage Museum Grant Program. Artist of the Year at COSMOSCOW-2017. Laureate of the XV State Prize "Innovation" in the nomination "Artist of the Year". The works are in the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow) and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.

Oleg Ustinov was born in 1984 in Rostov-on-Don. Created by the artist in 2006, the art group "Toad and the Devil", in the tradition of trash and "lubok" (type of graphics), criticized Rostov consumerism. From replicated and partisan art (imitation of commercial postcards, advertising posters), the group moved on to large forms; over the years of its existence, it has held a series of exhibitions in places not intended for this: from an abandoned pillbox and wine glass to a salon of fashionable fabrics. Oleg Ustinov compares his creative method with the principle of torrent, or "internal corporation". This approach assumes the ability to work simultaneously on several projects that are in varying degrees of completion, then build connections between them and demonstrate the result.
