"I paint what I truly love, what inspires me and sparks my imagination. I don't look for subjects; everything around me inspires and fuels my imagination: the shore, sand, silhouettes of trees, clouds, houses, water, light and shadow. Sometimes, a tiny glint of light on the back of a chair transforms into a stream of light piercing through a thick forest... Nature itself is not of great importance. Almost like in childhood, behind every literal image lies something else—a certain memory, a symbol, a mood, a premonition..."
