Alina Glazun: "According to the Eastern horoscope, 2026 falls under the sign of the Fire Horse and promises us "dynamism, passion, energy, and initiative." The main character of my silkscreen print is also a horse, but this time it's a children's rocking horse. Few artists have not turned to this image, or rather, its archetype. (And according to a popular theory, it was the rocking horse (from the French "dada") that gave its name to one of the key movements in art history—Dadaism!). But does even a rocking horse really possess a fiery temperament? And where did it gallop off to? Each viewer will embark on a search for their own answer, making their way through the blazing stars in the vastness of black space."
Russian contemporary artist. Alina Glazun was born in 1988 in Kirovograd in the family of a pilot and a housewife. In 1992 she moved with her family to Moscow. From 2004 to 2010 she studied art history and was engaged in academic drawing at the Faculty of Arts of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov
