In his artistic practice, Alexander exploits visual glitches and digital errors—glitches, repetitions, and bugs that arise in virtual environments. He is interested in how these phenomena influence the perception and structure of images, subverting conventional ways of seeing. Through painting, drawing, and working with exhibition space, he creates situations of "freezing"—when the visual becomes unstable, not fully manifested. He is interested in how art can expose everyday boundaries—on the screen, in architecture, in the mind—and transform them into fields for observation, questioning, and rethinking.
