Sculpture Memory
Sculpture Memory
Artist and product designer. She began working in decorative and applied arts in 2002. During this time, she mastered various techniques and materials, from classic stained glass and mosaics to copper enamel. Since 2017, recycled cardboard has become her primary material for creating objects.
Ulyana created her first objects from newspapers and paper, experimenting with papier-mâché. Gradually, she progressed from simple and small forms to complex and large ones.
"As she worked, the pliable cardboard mass began to transform in her hands into abstract sculptures, massive panels, voluminous pendant lamps, and interior and decorative objects."
In 2020, Ulyana was among the winners of the 2nd All-Russian Product Design Competition "Designed and Made in Russia" (Ethical Design category).
Each of the author's objects is a search for a new form, based on the principles of the formation of natural structures and reflections on the theme of chaos and order, their collision and interaction.
