From the "About Love" project. Artists of diverse movements and perspectives have addressed the theme of love for centuries. The entire history of world fine art, from the pre-Christian period to the present day, repeatedly reveals this eternal theme. Numerous philosophers, historians, writers, and poets have continually returned to the theme of love in their works. In art, love has taken various forms throughout history, often becoming synonymous with beauty and shaping the tastes and aesthetic trends of its time. Over the centuries, artists and philosophers have defined beauty, and through their testimony, we can construct a history of aesthetic thought across time.
The "Russian Fog" project explores the theme of traditions and their influence on cultural codes. Various cultural phenomena, finding new ground, are transformed and strengthened in the new cultural space, sometimes absorbing local traditions, and sometimes transforming them, ultimately giving birth to new cultural meanings. This process can be observed in all areas of art, where so-called "borrowings" are synthesized with traditional experience of sculptural expression, forming a new artistic language.
