Bis art gallery
The contemporary art gallery has existed since 1992 and is located at the Centre for contemporary art Winzavod. The gallery represents both mature, established artists and the young ones who are actively developing their creative potential.
During the work of our gallery many events were organized. The gallery held its first international exhibition in 2002 in The Hague and continued to present its works both in Moscow and in other foreign capitals.
BIS ART specializes in painting and drawing. BIS ART GALLERY’s permanent collection in Moscow has unique artists who are actively exhibited in Russia and abroad. Their works vary in format, color, subject matter, and material. What is important is the common grounds they share: rare and individual artist’s techniques, a recognizable style, as well as the authenticity of each one and their significance in the world art market.
BIS ART GALLERY has several aims and objects. The first one is surely to give people the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of artists carefully selected by the gallery. The second objective of BIS ART GALLERY is to search for young artists and to help and to promote them. The gallery actively promotes young art. The third one is to enlighten and to introduce contemporary art to the wider public. In addition to exhibition activities, the gallery hosts educational programmes which are usually presented for the gallery’s partners.
